Virginie Chabrol is a French photographer based in Glasgow, Scotland. In her photographs she documents what is spectacular as well as the signs of an everyday life and makes sensitive portraits of her discoveries and encounters.
Virginie has a master's degree in History of Arts and began her career as a cultural project manager in a natural park near Paris. There, she would commission artists and organise residencies dealing with sustainable development. Today, environmental issues are still a strong focus in her photography, whether she captures natural landscapes or human settlements.
Virginie's work has been featured in magazines like Water Journal, Satori or Les Others Magazine, for whom she also wrote several pieces (in French).
